Long time friends Patrick Dolan and Joseph Walsh formed El Monte Filmworks in 2007 to bring a focus and coherence to their creative and technical visions, dedicating themselves to pushing the creative envelope through collaborations with Producers and Directors to create truly memorable and dynamic imagery.
Patrick Dolan graduated from the USC School of Cinema in 1996. As a Director of Photography, Patrick has lensed 7 feature films, as well as commercials and music videos. As a Camera Operator, Patrick has toured with bands such as The Rolling Stones, U2, and Jimmy Buffet.
Joseph Walsh graduated from Columbia College in 1994 and has earned more than 40 IMDB credits, primarilly in the Camera Department. Joseph is a proud member of the International Cinematographer's Guild and has shot Second Unit on several feature films, including an Imax project. As a jib arm owner and operator, Joseph continues to amass credits on feature films, commercials, music videos, concerts, and sporting events.
